Re: working hours
Like any profession or trade, the working hours depend upon the employer. Generally, though, law firm hours are 8:00-8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, most associates will work well beyond this time frame - coming in early, working late and/or working on Saturdays. Much of this depends on the type of practice you are involved in (transactional, litigation, etc.) and the billable hours requirement of the particular firm. Feel free to contact me with specific questions.
