Re: working hours

Like any profession or trade, the working hours depend upon the employer. Generally, though, law firm hours are 8:00-8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, most associates will work well beyond this time frame - coming in early, working late and/or working on Saturdays. Much of this depends on the type of practice you are involved in (transactional, litigation, etc.) and the billable hours requirement of the particular firm.
