Re: 16 year old boy

Hello. This is a very serious matter.

First of all it is important to realize that a prosecutor's job is to prosecute. This young man needs a lawyer like yesterday! The charges against him are very serious. What will help here is the filing of preliminary motions such as a motion to suppress. Regardless of the charges, this 16 year old has a right to competent representation by a lawyer who will vigorously defend him. By law, the Office of the State's Attorney can file this charge against him and the judge and State's

Attorney are immune from any legal sanctions for bringing this charge, without a basis for the charge. This is where a defense attorney comes in handy. I will be happy to discuss this matter with you further and in more detail.
