Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Illinois

Do 16 year olds have any rights if ward of the state?

Im 16 years old and i was taken away from my grandmothers house and put in a foster home. I wanted to know if i had any rights or say so because this is really affecting me emotonally and physically? I feel as if my caseworker from dcfs isnt helping me or my state lawyer so i decided to get help. i really want to go home and i miss home very much. I am originally from chicago. I have many questions that i have asked and they have not been answered. So i wanted to know if there is anything i could use in court.

If you have concerns about the competency of the lawyer appointed for you, you should first speak w/that lawyer and, if you are still dissatisfied, bring it to the attention of the court.
