Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Illinois
2 years ago a young lady had me arrested and charged for domestic battery. Not only is it false but she actually had the police to watch me remove my belonging from her apartment to my car and i moved with a friend. Weeks later I was pulled over arrested for beating her, tying her up & auto theft. Spent 2 weeks in jail for which she never showed up for court. I've been trying to pursue her but i recently found her on facebook and was wondering if i can press charges against her for the crime she committed against me?

You had two years to file a false arrest complaint against her. If it is more than two years you can do nothing.
