amended complaint

I filed a complaint in the small claims court and now I am being ask to submit an amended complaint. Why? and How do I file this?

What needed to be changed in the original complaint? Did an attorney file the original complaint for you? What court are you in?

You can call the clerk of the court to answer the "how" part of your question. As to why, the judge would have told you there was something wrong with the complaint as written and instructed you to fix it.
