When you file a civil suit, you will get an initial court date for the first appearance. Usually within 45 days. As for when you got to arbitration for worker's comp, it all depends on many factors.

Once you filea case, you are already in court. The time before the trial date in a civil rights case depends on many factors, including the judge's trial calendar. No specific time frame exists.
