Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Illinois
My company is asking for information regarding my dependents for health insurance. What information are they legally entitled to. They already have SSN for my dependents and myself. This is also being monitered through a third party company.

In light of the recent health care reform bill, this question is difficult to answer. However, in my opinion, the insurance company that your employer uses, cannot deny a person coverage due to a pre-existing condition. I suggests contacting the Illinois Attorney General's Office for additional assistance and clarification.
