Would you consider this democracy when a civil litigant is denied a court appointed attorney and witness protection and a criminal witness is given both in the courts in America.

We are a constitutional republic, and the courts have said that appointed counsel in certain situations is necessary to uphold our constitutional rights. Law enforcement agencies have the ability to protect witnesses under similar general principles in criminal cases. Civil cases have always been treated differently and the constitution does not address those rights similarly.
