Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Illinois
Email censoring by ISP
My ISP has suddenly started filtering all incoming and outgoing email and deleting any attachment with an exe. file extension because six of its subscribers had received a virus with that extension. What rights do I have to expect my ISP to leave my mail alone and allow me to send whatever attachments I wish?

Re: Email censoring by ISP
Read your ISP service agreement, and that ought to tell you what rights you ISP has to do what it is doing to your e-mail. That is what governs your rights and their obligations.
