Does chicago il have a daytime curfew

To my knowledge, Chicago does not have a daytime curfew. It does have an evening curfew, but not a daytime curfew. However, a police officer can detain a child if he reasonably believes the child is in danger, or is unsupervised by an adult. Of course the latter determination will largely depend upon the age of the child. Chicago is governed by Illinois law in terms of issues that relate to the best interest of a child, which is the standard used by the courts here in Illinois.
