Can my insurance company pay out claims without me knowing and then hold me responsable for those accidents even though they were thrown out of court?

Hire local counsel to have them walk through the documentation to determine whether the claims were treated in accordance with the insurance policy and the insurer's obligations to you in taking control of the lawsuit or claims.
