Remind me not to nominate you for "Mother of the Year." Your kid needs to be evaluated for a learning disability and you don't want to talk to the school about it. This is in your child's best interest and you want to tell the school to "F off !" I hope he has a father or a grandparent who takes more interest. Legally, you could be setting yourself up for a visit from DCFS and a charge of educational and medically neglect for failing to cooperate with school officials. I suggest you immediately change your attitude and do everything to cooperate. It will benefit your son in the long run.
