Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Illinois
We live in Illinois. My son is 16. Last year we gave him a computer to use. We suspect he is visiting inappropriate web sites. As parents, are we legally allowed to get into his computer and check what sites he is visiting?

Hello. In my opinion you have a legal right to inspect your son's computer. At age 16 he is only a minor and you can be held legally responsible for his behavior.
