Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Illinois
A member of my family plea bargained and currently serving time in a federal camp. He was working for me at the time
The federal agent involved went far beyond his limits in his investigation causing severe damage to my company and I am on the verge of bk. Most of the things he did could be defended as aggresive law inforcemen. One of the things he did was to give evidence obtained in a supena to a civil attorney who has used to to file a suit against my company and several other people.I did some research and it appears it is a criminal offense. The evedense was submitted as a document in the civil suite so there is no question of proving it was done. Is it correct that it is illegal and how would you suggest I handle it.
