Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Illinois
Money owed to me
I have an ex-boyfriend that owes me money that was borrowed to him to pay bills and things for his house. I need to know what rights I have to get this money back from him.

If he was borrowing the money, then he owes it to you and you should be able to get it from him. On the other hand, if you were making a gift of these purchased items to him, he owes you nothing.
