Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Illinois
I was reacently arested for retail theaft I was brought to the county prison and booked picture, fingerprints holding cell the works. Never once was I read my marnada rights. Is this a TV thing or were they suppose to read me my rights?

Your "miranda rights" must be reaf to you when you are arrested for a crime.
At that time you may request an attorney and must only provide vital info such as name, address etc.
