school suspensions

My 8th grade son has been suspended over 30 times in the last 3 years . The teachers now suspend him for asking a question the wrong way just to remove him from the class. They don't want to deal with a child that occasionally disrupes the class... nothing major.. I want him to finish this grade and go on the high school, but am having trouble going up against this school.. I would like to bring suit, but do I have grounds?

Perhaps. Depends upon whether the suspensions are done for vindictive reasons unrelated to behavior or whether your son is truly being disruptive. Another possibility is that the school is not meeting your child's special needs . . . does he have an IEP in place?
