Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Illinois
seeking legal advice on suing DCFS in Knox County, Illinois
Last year, my wife and I were involved in a DCFS case in Knox County, Illinois.
My children were wrongfully taken out of my home due to false allegations of child abuse and neglect. We have all the paperwork that shows contradictions, blatant lies and cover-ups.
I am seeking legal advice on suing them, as I feel they did not properly do their job, and had a more personal agenda to the case.

Re: seeking legal advice on suing DCFS in Knox County, Illinois
Hello. DCFS is a State of Illinois agency,
therefore you would have to file a claim with
the Illinois Court of Claims. The State of
Illinois cannot be sued in the Circuit Court
system; only through the Court of Claims. I
will be happy to answer any additional questions
that you might have.
