Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Illinois
My son is 14 years old. Yesterday, in his school, he fought with another kid with aroung the same age. The school suspended both of them for two days. My son was physically and emotionally hurt. If I prove that my son was in the self-defense position, can I bring a law sue against the the other kid or against the shool because of it treated the case with unfairly manner?

You MAY be able to sue the parents of the other child depending on the circumstances/facts.
