Either way you need to talk to the owner of your store because it's ultimately the owner's business, not yours. Unless you are perhaps the franchisee? Assuming you are not a franchisee, your store's owner has to decide what to do. As to the lieing about you personally, you may have a case for slander if you are being harmed economically or being humiliated in your job in particular. That's something you could see an attorney about on your own. But you need to have an open line of communication with your boss and maybe have your boss observe this behavior. Sounds more like this other owner is trying to wind up with this store to increase his territory.....
