Hacking into email

An ex of mine admitted to hacking into a friend of mine's email address. She wrote that she hacked into her account in an email she sent her. I am wondering what authorities I should send this email and any action I may have against her?

Your friend should contact me or an experienced Internet Law Attorney immediately. Her entire security protocol could be compromised.
