Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Illinois
Legal Question
Hey ,
I was wondering if it's legal to bring my girl friend to chicago where i
live now from st. louis for the holidays. She's 16 while i'm 19. I have her parents
permission and she really wants to go with me. My parents however, say
that it's against federal law, thats she's underage, and i could go to
federal prison. I was just wondering if thats true and if theres a way around that or what. And i'm not really sure which law i should've picked for this subject so i guessed this one.
Thanks

Re: Legal Question
Hello. Your girlfriend is underaged.
You could have a problem. One solution would be to bring one of her
parents or your's along for the trip.
The law in Illinois has changed drastically. Will be happy to discuss
this with you further.
