Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Illinois
Obama IL senator in '09?
Is there anything that legally prevents Obama from holding the offices of Senator and President at the same time? That would be sorta badass, and guarantee him a vote every time. If not, what legal precedent would prevent this?

The Constitution prohibits someone holding two offices at the same time.
