Search and Seizure

Are police allowed to take your things on a complaint based somewhere else, and from evidence from someone else? are they suppose to give you a list of what they took from your house? I need a pro bono lawyer that believes in the constitution and thinks lying police and newspaper ought to pay when they drag a poor disabled person trhough the mud just because they can cause he is too stupid or poor to fight back and trample all over his rights and laugh at him and tell him to shut up or it could get worse. Any good people left out there to help me?

Hello. To be able to legally search

your home and then seize property in your home, the police need a search

warrant. If they had no search war-rant, then you can file a lawsuit

against the individual officers for

invasion of property, theft and other

damages. Will be happy to discuss this with you further. Certainly from your posting I only know a few apparent details, however in my 21 years of practicing law I have always felt good about assisting someone who has been victimized by law enforce-ment or other persons in authority.
