Legal Question in Construction Law in Illinois

When a contract to perform a service that includes a warranty is terminated early by the other party. Can the terminating party on contact end, first choose to accept workmanship warranty then 2 weeks later decline, then expect reimbursement for a dissatisfied service? Warranty would have covered dissatisfied service.

Early termination was based on party getting cheaper price.

If that occurred, how could that be viewed within the legal arena?

Very confusing question. Normally a warranty is for completed work. Terminating a contract just because the consumer is unhappy with the price is not allowed unless the contract has some kind of price guaranty. Without more info there can't really be a helpful answer.
