how can i get a contenuence i have 18 left days to respond the the complaint or a judgment could be entered for me . i have all the signed copies of the completion form that the customer signed when i was finished and my warranty on the work have exspired . ive been done with the work for 1 1/2 yrs now. they are having some cracks in the dry wall. and some other small issues that were not caused by my work . i closed my company down 6-month ago and do not have the money to fight this . can i ask for a continuance to buy more time and how do i do this

Why ask for more time, what will more time get you.........it won't go away........hire a lawyer and deal with it and get it over with.
