Legal Question in Construction Law in Illinois
Legal rights after final payment?
We did full kitchen remodeling, now the owner is not happy with the tile work, before the final payment he told me to replace 3 tiles and the rest of the floor is ok, after doing that he and his wife saw the floor and pay the last check, 2 weeks later he is not happy and want to replace the whole floor ( the tile floor is not perfect but is not that bad )
Does he have any right to sue me after accepting the job and paying in full ?

Sure he does. Whether or not he will win depends on the facts and testimony presented at trial.
But will he win... If there is a warranty issue here, possibly.
