Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
Did 3-day cool-off rule apply to Vehicle in Illinois?
I bought a new car at dealer in Lincolnwood last Saturday and trade-in my used SUV, I paid $2500 with credit card and promised to pay the difference tomorrow for the balance of $5,000 by check. And now my wife change mind, she want her SUV back and return new car, did 3-day s cool-off rule of FTC applied to my case? I called the dealer this morning but the manager said no way to return it. Please help. Thanks!

Not unless the dealer came to your home to make the sale, or the dealer was set up at a temporary location, for example at a hotel or fairgrounds.
