Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois

In 2007 I put my things into a storage bin. The Company accidently threw my things out ,claiming they had 2 number 7 bins. This Company refuses to pay me for my things. How do I get this company to pay me for my things. And I'm not able to pay for a Attorney so how can I get the help that I need?
