Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
Can an Attorney request evidence in a law suit before trial date has been set or a decision made by the Judge. The lawyer who filed the law suit is the lawyer requesting the information.

I am guessing you are referring to what is called discovery. If so, then yes information can be requested prior to trial. I am also guessing that you are representing yourself. If so, you will need to either study up on Illinois discovery rules, or better yet, hire an attorney to represent you.
