Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
we booked a wedding venue, signed contract, put a deposit down based on said contract. Since, the venue coordinator was replaced with new personnel who is aware of the contract and keeps trying to verbally get the bride and groom to okay changes because she says the previous agent didn't charge enough. Can they do that? Please explain all the legal why nots. We feel that they are doing this knowing it is too late to back out and it was only a handful of places that could accommodate our kosher requirements. I need to call and get this straightened out asap!

Probably not, but providing you with a specific answer would require a review of the entire agreement.
