Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
I bought a boat and did not get a signed bill of sale. There was a verbal agreement that the deal was based on the assumption that I would be able to get title. The guy was in the process of getting the title into his name, as it was left in his storage unit. It's been almost 30 days and he has not provided title. In addition, I had the boat inspected and they said it is rotten. I want to return the boat and get my money back. Any ideas?

In Illinois, if the amount of your damages in question are less than $10,000, small claims court could be a cost effective option for you.
