Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois

i bought a car and paid cash for it and all i owed was the title and taxes etc fees and they came and repo my car and i have to pay 350 just to get it out. Can they legally do this even if the car was paid for.

Sounds pretty dicey. If they had no security interest in the vehicle, they should have had no right to take possession of it. It would, of course, depend on the documents which were signed when you purchased the vehicle.
