Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois

braces

I got braces off my teeth and they don't look any better than before I had braces. My teeth were straight, I just wanted them broadened and they are narrower than they were before. My orthodontist said he can't do anything for me. Is there something I can do, like get some of my money back

and go to someone else, or is he obligated to try and fix the problem.

Thank you for you time,

Re: braces

You may have a claim for orthodonture malpractice. In order to assert such claim, however, you would need the opinion of another orthodontist to the effect that your orthodontist's treatment of you fell below a reasonable standard of care.
