Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
If I buy a new car, and my friend (3rd Party) trades their car (at no cost to me) in to lower the total price of the vehicle, is my friend at any time allowed to ask for reparations for the trade in value of that vehicle from me? They are no where on the auto loan and I had no part of signing their trade in auto to the dealership. I live in Illinois.

It sounds like you and your friend had differing ideas on whether the trade in was a gift to you or not. What did your friend say or do that indicated to you that he or she was essentially giving you this car?
