Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
Car dealership is failing to supply MSO
I won a car two months ago. The paperwork was delivered to the party who sponsored the contest. The MSO (sales order) was made out to the party that sponsored the contest instead of me, a corrected MSO was ordered. Now the dealership and the party sponsoring the contest will not return my phone calls. I cannot register the car without an MSO. Therefore, I cannot drive it or sell it. I am now two months late in registering the car in the State of MO. The car dealership is in IL.

Re: Car dealership is failing to supply MSO
You should probably call the Missouri Attorney General's office and file a complaint. If that does not generate some assistance in getting the problem resolved, you should probably consider hiring an attorney and pursuing a lawsuit against the dealership and the contest sponsor. But try the Missouri Attorney General's Consumer Protection group first, and see if they can help you.
