Sold a used car- buyer 19 British girl working here for summer. She returned to England, a friend of hers parked the car locked with a note ''i need help with storing the car for a while. Thanks for your help. '' please ring me at she gave me a number and a name. I called and her friend sent me keys and said she would have the girl get in touch with me. I have not heard from her. What is my responsibility, liability? We do not want to store the car till she returns next summer. are there any alternatives?

You could charge her storage fees, and at that point have a storage lien on the automobile. Provided that you follow the statute EXACTLY, you could obtain a title in your name and sell the car. This is something which is not a do it yourself remedy--you should hire an attorney.
