Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
Dont want my new car
On Sta. 3-6-04 I went to look at new cars. I was looking at Trucks not thinking my bad credit would make it possable. After a fast talking sales man made me feel I could fix my crdit by making large payments in a car I did not want. I went home in a new car. Sunday 3-7-04 I sat down looked at the numbers and felt this new car wasn't in my best interest. So Monday 3-8-04 I went back and told them this is something I really can't do. They erfuse to take the new car back telling me they owend my old car and I singed a contract that they say I can not break. I need to know can I break it and how much time do i have?

Re: Dont want my new car
You are not entitled to "break" the contract. The time to decide what you can afford is before you sign on the dotted line.
