Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
Car Warrenty denied
My husband purchased a used car from a Used Car Dealership 2 months ago. He bought a warrenty with the purchase of the car. Car recently blows the engine. Warrenty Co. says the engine is not original to the car, even though it's the engine that was in the car at the time we purchased it, therefore, they will not honor the warrenty. We had to take out a $4,000 loan to have another engine put into the car. Do we have any way of getting the dealership to pay for this new engine? Of course, they're not offering to replace it. Thanks

Re: Car Warrenty denied
You need to have an attorney review the warranty docs and the docs you received when you bought the car since the language in those documents will determine your rights in this matter.
