Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
I have a client who complaints that his car was broken down 2 days after an oil change service because of the oil ring of the oil filter fell off and all the oil drained off. He came back to the shop he had his oil change service, the shop owner pointed to the part manufacture and finally none of them took responsibility. He also said his car engine was totally dead and need to be replaced.
He wants to know where he can complaint to get the problem solved.

There may be many venues to file a complaint.
If the damage was less than $10,000 they can file in small claims court.
Your client can file in Circuit court also.
The "Client" will need documentation of the problem, etc.
