Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
Consumer Protection
I made a return to a merchant who has not refunded me my money. A week later, the merchant called me and yelled at me on the phone and harrassed me about my return. Do I have any legal recourse?

Re: Consumer Protection
Without knowing more, I would have to say that if the merchant accepted the item you returned, they need to refund your money. You may need to sue the merchant in small claims to get your refund. Keep in mind that merchants are not generally required by law to accept returns and refund money.
