Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
Is this contract truly non-refundable?
I signed a contract for a lazer hair removal service because I felt pressured because I had to decide by the end of that day. A couple weeks later when I went for the first treatment, I decided I no longer wanted the service. They told me there was no refund. But I hadn't received any services for my money- can they keep my money even if I didn't use the service? I have been trying to contact them, and they are reluctant to call me back, even though they said they would.

Re: Is this contract truly non-refundable?
If you signed the contract and it clearly states it is non-refundable then the company does not have to give you the money back. If I were you I would contact the Illinois Attorney General consumer complaint department and see if they can help you.
