Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
Defroster
I purchased a new vehicle, a 2004 TrailBazer. It does not have a rear defroster, although I was under the impression it did. The Chevy brochure does not list it as an option and the vehicle cost $32,000.00. I was informed by another dealership that they believe a auto sold in this region has to come with a rear defroster by law. The dealership wants me to pay $2002.00 to install a raer defroster! Does a new vehicle sold in Illinois northern region need to come equipped with a rear defroster?
