Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois

Ebay auction - seller refuses to sell...

I recently won an auction on ebay for a 2005 Seadoo PWC. The winning bid amount was $2150. I have attempted to contact the seller from 5 minutes after the auction til today. I am beginning to believe the seller has no intention of honoring his obligation to sell the item. I have contacted him through the ebay message system several times and these messages are recorded and saved. I have also left phone messages which I have records of. Is there anything I can do to force the seller to follow through with the transaction? Thank you!

Contact ebay. They can kick him off the service.

Also, if you get his name and address, you can sue him (or her) for money damages. You may have to sue that person in their local jurisdiction.
