Do EMTs who work for the village have to inform you of the cost of 911 ambulance ride?

I am not aware of any legal requirement that they do so, and I would be very surprised if they even knew the cost. You are certainly within your rights to ask, and to refuse transport if you do not get a satisfactory answer.
