how do you pay off an eviction that i did not know about in the state of illinois

Re: evictions
Pay the landlord, get a written receipt, and then go to the Court that ordered the eviction and ask that the money judgment be removed from your record. The landlord should be willing to have the judgment removed in exchange for full payment.
If you want to dispute the eviction, then it gets more complicated.
