Forced to pay a bill,not my own,because of disability
What do I file against a utillity company thats forcing me to pay a bill for place I never lived.I have to pay do to the fact that I am a 100% disabled gulf war vet,my body does not work well without enough heat.What charges do I file

I don't think there's anything you can file until you've suffered actual damages, which unfortunately won't occur until they actually turn off your service. However, I think there are some options. Have you called the utility company (I think I know which one it is) and asked to speak to the supervisor? If that fails, call the Illinois Commerce Commission at 1-800-524-0795, and tell the utility company that is your next step if they are unwilling to help you. If these don't work, email me.
