Garnishment of Wages
If you are making a monthly payment on a debt - can a creditor garnish your wages?

Depends on the circumstance. A creditor can only garnish your wages if a judgment has been entered against you. If the judgment specifies how payments are to be made, and you are complying with those terms, then they should not be able to garnish your wages. However, as an example, if the judgment is for $5,000, and you decide that you will pay $100 per month, there is nothing to prevent them from garnishing your wages. The amount they can garnish depends on how much you make.
