Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois

Hold-harm release

I am offering beginning baton lessons to girls age 7 and up. They

are paying for the lessons. Would it be wise to have them / the

parent fill out a hold harmelss waiver/release? Do I need to get an

attorney to write one out or can I use a free form that I found

online? What do you recommend? Thank you.

Re: Hold-harm release

You should have a release which the parents sign. I would spend the extra dollars and speak with an attorney and have him/her draw one up for you.

Yes.

You get what you pay for, generally. I would think it was worth a couple hundred bucks to have a document crafted for your situation, since you likely are endeavoring to protect your home, business, and assets.
